I wanted to let you know how happy we are with your Studio dog training services. We, my dog Gabby and me, started with puppy training, then we tried obedience training followed by agility training (she was too small). Once we tried Studio Training I noticed a difference in my minature poodle, Gabby, almost immediately. The techniques your studio animal trainers taught me and Gabby have allowed us to communicate very well together. I love the tricks we have learned, we show them off at every event we attend. The most fun was doing my first commercial and followed by two T.V. pilots we auditioned for. We feel like real actors, both of us. Without learning the art of acting on T.V., studio dog training, we would never have been able to achieve this level of success. Thanks for everything!

I am amazed at the range of knowledge that the Dog Trainers at LePAWS possess I never thought they could teach me any more than we had already learned. I thought that they were just dog trainers. When I found out the trainers at LePAWS have trained lions, tigers, parrots, dolfins and even monkeys for T.V. work I relized training me to train my dog would be a "cup of tea." Their approach is far reaching, easy to apply and seems to be something once learned can be improved on with practice.

Can't teach an old dog new tricks? Not so! LePAWS Dog Training does. Thanks so much for helping us teach old Archie in his later years, we thought he had learned it all, but with the use of a clicker, dog treats and hand commands Archie has learned to be a real actor.

What is Studio Training?
Animals need to follow direction from their handler or trainer while performing in front of a camera. Animals are trained to do what is wanted by their trainer. This same process is used by all trainers for all types of animals. An dog will perform tricks and the action needed for food treats from their trainers. First, a dog does not understand English, so through hand signals your dog will respond correctly over and over if given a treat. To begin an animal is given a "click" sound from a plastic clicker to indicate the correct response to the hand signal was performed, followed by the food treat. Once this pattern is established your dog will learn an endless number of tricks. Dogs are taught the mark, which is something they can put their front feet upon, usually a piece of food. An example is "go to mark", the trainer points to the block of wood that consitutes the mark, as the dog approaches and places his feet on the mark, the clicker is sounded, praise is given and a food treat is the reward. Very simple, once learned by you and your dog a world of fun tricks can be maintained.
You need a LePAWS trainer to show you how !
Studio Dog Training
The art of teaching animals to perfrom "on set" with the use of food treats, verbal and hand commands have been used by animal trainers ever since animals appeared in silent films. Up to a couple of years ago these techingues were used by animal trainers working on ranches on all types of animals from exotics like lions, tigers and bears; to farm animals like horses, cows, pigs and chickens; or the domestic cats and dogs. Today, a privately owned dog can be taught these same tricks, techinques and commands by those same animal trainers. Dogs love to be obey, to be part of the family and they respond very well to studio training. We at LePAWS Dog training offer you and your dog the ability to appaer "on set" in front of a camera. At LePAWS we teach you how to teach your dog, then you practice these studio techinques at home at your own speed. You do not drop off your dog and arrange to come back in a month and pickup your trained pet. At LePAWs we use the universal verbal and hand commands so any trainer can communicate with your dog just as you were taught. Stuart Kinzey and Michelle Zahn, co-owners of LePAWS
